In late 2006, PX Media was contacted to inquire about a redesign of her existing website and the acquisition of new hosting. Linda wanted a much more artistic and majestic feel to her website. The design we made incorporated deep reds with lighter-colored highlights, along with some leaves seeming to fall from the corner of the screen, giving the illusion of drifting toward the center.

In true Web 2.0 fashion, Linda's redesigned website takes advantage of AJAX, allowing it to change the content that is displayed to the user without reloading the entire page. When the content changes, it fades the old content out and gently fades the new content in. Additionally, the site features a Flash MP3 player to serenade visitors with selected performance pieces. All of this multimedia and textual content is controlled via a central CMS to make it a snap to update.

The results were fantastic. Linda has not only raved about the new design, but passed along the compliments of everyone she has shown it to.
